Community Update

In our best efforts to be responsible to our community, we have decided it's best to close our store for the time being. We hope this blows over soon and that we will be able to get together then.

Our Etsy store (Open Seed) is still open, where you can find tutorials (I'll be writing new designs while I'm home!) and some supplies. We are focusing on keeping our Etsy store stocked with kits, so check there for new patterns.

I will also continue to send email updates as needed.

Thank you for your support and..
Stay well!

To your health

When we opened Bead Stash eight years ago, our primary goal was to provide a space for the beading community to gather, enjoy each other’s company, inspire each other, and share the love of beading. We are eternally grateful to those who come through our doors to learn, to shop, and to share their work.

These last few weeks have been scary and sobering for us all. We hope you are well and continue to be, and coping with this new phase of social distancing.

We take our responsibility to our customers very seriously, and are committed to doing our part in this transitional time. We are keeping the store open for now, but we are discontinuing group events at Stash. Until further notice, we are canceling Tuesday Open Bead Group, workshops and private classes. We will now also be closed on Tuesdays.

If you are well (no fever, coughs or sniffles), please stop in during our regular store hours to shop, sit and bead, or show us what you’ve been doing. We’re happy to take pictures of your work and share it on social media for others to see. Inspiration is a big part of what brings us together and we want to do what we can.

Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to keep the environment here at Stash safe. We disinfect all surfaces often, make sure people in the store are maintaining healthy physical boundaries. We keep our sanitizers close by and available for anyone who needs them.

We know that in stressful times, our crafts can add comfort to our lives, and help us calm the storms a little. We want to do everything we can to be available to the beading community during this time and to continue to keep you supplied and inspired. We will dearly miss being able up to meet up as groups and look forward to the day we can do that again!

Stay well!

February is Bead Embroidery Month at Stash

Wow, what a way to kick off our February Bead Embroidery Month! We've just acquired stone cabs from our new consignor, Dewey Buck (Troy OH). Dewey is a stone artist who showered us with a beautiful collection of stone cabs in a variety of colors, sizes and shapes. Perfect timing, as we are adding to our stone strand offerings!
Every Saturday in February, Bead Stash will feature a Bead Embroidery Workshop from 10am-2pm. This is a drop-in style event (no registration required - $5 fee each Saturday that you attend), so come when you can, leave when you must, and let us guide you through whatever bead embroidery project you are inspired to do. We have at least eight patterns that can get you started. And as usual, we will be on hand to offer advice and how-to.
We also have some beautiful dichroic cabs and some new acrylic pour cabs. Please come join us for some inspiring fun!
